I was in love with my hair!!! It took about 6 hours but I have thick hair and the style I wanted was very unique... I have a side shave and I wanted cornrows on the other side and individuals in the middle so I could either wear it like a Mohawk or to the side....and to top it off I wanted them super long to my hips...she did it exactly what I want it.... I will be coming back for faux locs next....thanks fabi and coco I definitely recommend this place !!!

I highly recommend Blessings Hair Braiding...I initially found the hair salon almost 3 years ago while walking by on a Saturday morning. I was immediately impressed by the warm and prompt welcome offered to me by the salon staff. The professional and stylist hairstyles keeps me coming back- my braids are always on point! I regularly receive compliments about my hair and I have recommended several people (now customers) to Blessings Hair Braiding salon over the years.

Was contacted by the owner regarding my recent 3 star review, with an offer to have my style redone for free. I took her up on that offer, of course, and am so pleased with how it came out, now that the stylist did not have to rush through it. I recently chopped my permed hair off and now have beautiful, thick Type 4 kinks and curls on my head. It took just under an hour to do the two minor/two major french braided style, and now almost a week later, it is still holding up well. I am glad that I gave her a chance to right the wrong done last time.

So, I ask Fabiola for an appointment through the Yelp app...and she responded right away...I also got a same day appointment...Unfortunately, it wasn't the salon literally around the corner from me. However, it was a last minute same day appointment...I had to go to Lake Forest and have Regina do my hair...I must say that Regina was very nice and did an amazing job on my crochet faux locs...She was very understanding when I showed up with not enough hair and had to leave to go get more hair...Just like I told her I may drive alll the way their for my next style just to be someplace different...(the other salon is walking distance)...Thank you Regina for the conversation and patience...

What a wonderful place. i had the best braiding experience i've ever had. fantastic atmosphere, they gave me exactly what i asked for, and it was so convenient being able to buy the hair there. the lines were so clean and the braids all uniform. thank you so much!

Oh wonderful Fabiola!!! I sent her a message on Yelp on a Monday as a last minute request. She took me and had TWO girls braiding my hair by that Friday. The girls were pleasant (I never got their names) and Fabiola came in and was just as pleasant. Extremely friendly and professional. And my medium Senegalese twists took less than 5 hours WITH dipping. Very good pricing and I have absolutely nothing negative to say other than it was raining and windy but I was happy and full of sunshine!! I will definitely be back!! Thank you so much Fabiola for saving me and making me look fabulous!!

I'm a bit late with this review ! I remembered to write a review after I got my hair done today. Come to Fabiola's hair salon ! It's located in downtown Long Beach ! Great service by Fabi and her wonderful team. They're always there for me when I need my hair done last minute . My weaves are always done so neatly and quickly . Usually out within 2-3 hours. The 2-3 hours includes my hair being washed, conditioned , braided and then weaved . Prices are very affordable. And their awesome hospitality will make you a return customer. Give them a try! You won't be disappointed

I love this place everyone is very nice and I always leave satisfied with how my hair comes out!! Pricing is great and they are always accommodating with last minute appointments!! The range of styles they are able to do is immense and i'm confident when i want to try something new i'll go straight to blessings. I'll definitely be returning.

I highly recommend getting your hair braided here. These women are truly a blessing to be around. They will do your hair beautifully and the prices are reasonable. Fabiola and KoKo are the best!
